Yes, Garaj has been confirmed now for Sat Aug 22. Aug 22 is pretty much done, we just are awaiting the agents mapping out the rest of the area for the bands,
before we can announce, so stay tuned for more....Sat is def gonna be a Roots-Rock-Reggae kinda of day !!
Garaj will also be playing the Superjam like we did at Zoo, where 1 band will play a set, then Garaj will play a set, and then all artists from the fest are invited to join in for a jam with Garaj acting as the core of the Jam. Good times !! |

Ya , that superjam was EPIC.
Still looking for the recording of that Superjam and the Garaj sets if anyone tracked it down. I know " Jade " from washington was given a sbd patch , as he let me listen to it , but i was a bit out there and forgot to get his #. Anyone have it to trade ? |

A 1 min walk from fest grounds to these hotels !! wee |

Well for those coming up just for Super Jam and Sunday don't waste your afternoon,
The Whistler Arts Council is kindly providing the public with Free Funk Saturday & Sunday afternoon. Papa josh will be busting out the Funk'n'Groove Project 3:30 - 6:30 Saturday beside the waterfall by Earls/Starbucks/Mongolie Grill. Same Spot Sunday but from 1-4. Ramble by put yer feet in the stream, try out a hoola hoop OR paint a Papa Josh Rock.. or let the kids either way. Oh, you can all stop asking about the jam it says specifically "musicians playing at the festival" so if you want to see PJ you'll have to catch his show, no festy for us. maybe Fareed or Kai coould come sit in with Josh I mean theres 2 guitars a bass and a drum kit so anything is possible. . |

Derek -- it says on the fest website that tix will go up the week of the fest. When exactly will prices go up? And, there's no indication on the website of
exactly where the fest is. I've heard rumours of "golf course". Can you also confirm that key detail, faz favor? Obrigado! STOKED. Ah...

Hey Jonathan, tickets go up on Friday or Sat this week. Rastrillo's were on the bill since the get-go but then we moved them over to Sat due to time
getting cut short pn the Sunday curfew and then the band found another gig on Saturday we didnt know about ? We are still trying to fit them in on Sunday as a
surprise but its up in air still.Fest is on Whistler Golf Course driving Range across from Westin/Hilton,Best Western Listel,Crab Shack,Coast hotel.
